Lanelay Hall Hotel & Spa Hensol, Hensol

The hotel's rooms are absolutely stunning and clean, yet a bit small and fell slightly short of expectations compared to the pictures. The service was amazing, very polite and accommodating, despite a slight inconvenience in obtaining hot meals late in the evening. The location is good for its convenience but not as peaceful due to the nearby main road, and the pool being cold was disappointing. Overall, a lovely stay with a couple of minor drawbacks.

The hotel room, under strenuous circumstances with regards to road works, was a suite, so it was a good size with a very large bed and even a bath in the room, clean and nice enough despite the lack of air conditioning, fridge, or a safe. The service from the staff, including the lovely woman at reception and the man at the bar, was more than helpful, making our stay pleasant from check-in to departure. The location, although near the main road, was not too peaceful, and air conditioning would have enhanced the comfort. The dining experience offered excellent cooked-to-order meals and a lovely atmosphere. Despite a few drawbacks, the facilities were satisfactory.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were stunning, and I adored that they were spread across two floors. Having air conditioning, a fridge, and a safe in the room was super convenient. The service was delightful; the staff even offered to bring me a coffee while I was swimming before breakfast. The location was amazing, especially for Sunday lunch and light bites. The dining experience was the best I've ever had at a hotel, with a farmhouse kitchen style area and homegrown organic fruits. The facilities were top-notch, making my stay extremely pleasant.
